Player Transfer Request

Exception-Based

Use only when no waiver applies. Approvals are rare and should be based on extreme hardship or lack of any qualifying program by age. Requests based on preference (friends/relatives, specific teams, larger or more competitive leagues) are not approved.

  1. Parent writes a letter explaining reasons for transfer.
  2. Boards and Presidents of both leagues approve in writing.
  3. All letters sent to the District Administrator for approval.
  4. If approved, the request goes to Little League Eastern Region.
  5. After document verification, the request is reviewed by the International Charter Committee.
Submission Path All waiver requests originate with the GLL President and are submitted to the District for review before escalation to Little League International.
